Musical "Annie" - T O M O R R O W

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

Jason loves this song so much!
I also remember the You've Got Mail movie.  This song was sung by a little girl for a family Christmas presentation  - Joe Fox :)

Judy Garland - SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW

Somewhere over the rainbow

Way up high,

There's a land that I heard of

Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow

Skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream

Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far

Behind me.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow

Bluebirds fly.

Birds fly over the rainbow.

Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly

Beyond the rainbow

Why, oh why can't I?

B A T A N E S

I always dream of going to Batanes, Philippines.
A very beautiful and pristine place.

This is how travelphilippineisland.com describes BATANES:

The Batanes island group is the smallest province in the Philippines in terms of population and land area. The capital of Batanes, Basco is 280 kilometers north of Apari, Cagayan (the tip of main island of Luzon) while it is only 190 kilometers south of Taiwan. Batanes lies in the vast waters of the Pacific ocean where the Pacific meets China sea. An area that for generations is almost isolated from the rest of the Philippines. Batanes consist of 10 tiny islands and islets namely: Batan, Sabtang, Itbayat, Mavudis, Siayan, Diogo, North Island and Y'ami. Only the first three islands are inhabited.

The wind swept islands of Batanes are beautiful and enchanting and they are like no other in the Philippines. Since Batanes is separated from the country by miles of rough waters, the Ivatans (the name of the people of Batanes) have developed a different culture. Ivatans are honest, gentle and polite but brave and robust. They are proud of their their heritage and their land.

View overlooking the beach sea and mountainsThe landscape of Batanes is also distinct from other Philippine provinces - steep cliffs, rolling hills, deep canyons and boulder-lined shores - not unlike New Zealand in some way. But the most noticeable of all features of Batanes is the architecture of the houses - stone walled and thick thatched roofs to withstand the battering of typhoons.

Places of Interest in Batanes:
● House of Dakay (1887) a UNESCO heritage building
● Lighthouses of Batanes
● St. Dominic de Guzman Parish Cathedral
● Mt. Iraya - A 1008-meter mountain on Batan Island
● Mahatao View Deck
● Burial Caves - Pre-historic burial caves in the town of Itbayat
● Sumhao Wind Power Plant
● Nakaboang Beach, Ark & Cave
● Songsong Ruins
● Beaches - Chadpidan Beach, White Beach and more
● Payaman - known as "Marlboro Country", a pasture overlooking farm fields & the Pacific Ocean

Happy Fourth of July!

I got this cute fluffy stuff dog from the baby - last year's Independence Day celebration at the carnival.  We named her SNUGGLES!

For the past years, we have Bella + Edward (2008) and a cute Pug Dog (2007).  Bella is a red cute teddy bear while Edward is the blue one.  Obviously, I named the identical teddies as Bella and Edward for I love the Twilight movie so much.  Bella is here with me while Edward is in WI for now.  They will be reunited soon for I will bring Bella when I travel to WI...  Sounds weird, but I love the idea that they will be together again!  I will also bring Snuggles of course.  We will be a big happy family then - Baby, Houchie, Bobar, Bella, Edward, Snuggles, Puggy Dog (actually a bull dog but I call her a Puggy dog since it is cute) and Me, hahahahahha :) :) :)   Houchie and Bobar are real dogs of my baby and his Daddy.  It is already a tradition in our relationship to get me a stuff toy at the country fair every Fourth of July Celebration.  This year, I am hoping that the baby can get me another one.  She already got a nice name - DEBBIE!  I so love it!!! :):):)

These are Houchie Pouchie and Bobar.  Bobar or Bob is the Daddy of Houchie.  He is 14 years old I guess while Houchie is 7 years old.  Cutie pie dogs.  Am not really used to dogs in the house but I can't wait to see them:

Happy Independence Day! :)
